Live music has always been at the core of Naim’s ethos; creating an emotional connection that draws you deeper into the song. Fostering up and coming live musicians is an integral part of the cycle, and as such we are delighted to announce a new partnership with the Salisbury based CIC (Community Interest Company), Life Rocks run by The Sound Emporium (music specialists with backgrounds in teaching, training and production). Life Rocks was created to source and raise funding to facilitate the provision of music services for the benefit of young people in our community. Their mission is to provide free sustainable music based youth services for everyone and plug the gap that public sector cuts have left in local services.

Naim Audio Sponsors CIC Life Rocks
A new partnership with the Salisbury Community Interest Company, Life Rocks.

A major new part of their mission, and three years in the making, is The Bunker in Harnham.
The newly renovated facility has made use of a local asset that stood empty for decades, and turned it into a truly sustainable music facility for young people from the age of seven upwards. The Bunker will offer one-to-one music tuition, the popular 'School of Rock' classes, a state of the art recording studio, fully equipped 'live' and 'silent' rehearsal rooms, and the highly regarded youth service provision. In addition, alternative provision education will be available to students identified as struggling to thrive in mainstream education environments.
The free and sustainable open access youth service will offer full access to all facilities, staffed by highly qualified experienced professionals from The Sound Emporium. Naim will also be providing The Bunker with Mu-so and Mu-so Qb wireless music systems throughout, with Focal donating headphones for the practice and recording rooms.
No images of the Bunker have yet been released, but the layout below is a great first glimpse.

Life Rocks says the main aim of this new project is to engage young people across all creative mediums and make an investment in all of our futures by investing in them. Naim is very proud to be part of this important next step in Life Rocks’ story as their principle sponsor.
The Bunker will open its doors for the first time on Friday 3rd March with a big party, and of course live music. For more information, check out their website and come and join us for the Grand Opening!
