Naim Jazz Artists Win at the Jazz FM Awards
Naim Jazz's own Neil Cowley Trio took away the gong for UK Jazz Artist of the Year, beating household name Jamie Cullum and experimentalists Troyka - with a barnstorming victory performance at the Jazz FM Awards. Empirical's unfathomably talented alto-saxophonist Nathaniel Facey also won the prize for UK Instrumentalist of the Year.
The inaugural Jazz FM Awards took place on the 31st January in Bloomsbury, London. Amongst the winners were jazz stars Kurt Elling, Ahmed Jamal, Ramsey Lewis and Gregory Porter.
Congratulations to all the winners on the night but especially our friends Neil Cowley Trio and Empirical's Nathaniel Facey!
