A celebration of music with a limited edition Mu-so

For the first time since its launch in 2014, our engineering team has given the Mu-so’s anodized aluminium skin a new tint – a luxury finish to celebrate the success of the original design. It wasn’t a simple task as we had to match the chassis, the halo around the control dial and the 628mm heatsink in the exact same finish. But the end result is a stunning and unique Mu-so system that stands out for its beauty and power.

Group Design Director, Simon Matthews speaks very fondly of the new special edition; "This finishing has been selected as it ideally represents both a ‘celebration’ of the continuing success of the Mu-so family but also because it delivers a unique appearance that oozes sophistication and exclusivity from every last detail.

Over the last 4 years Mu-so has become one of the best-loved wireless all-in-ones out there. It was our first wireless system and took a team of engineers from all disciplines several years to develop. We knew the end result was pretty special – Mu-so is incredibly simple to use but has a complex audio brain that controls 450 watts of power through its six-custom speakers. And it turned out we weren’t the only ones impressed with the finished design.

Mu-so has been given award after award since it was unveiled. Like the launch of a classic album, we have received great reviews from all manner of places. Wired, T3 and Stuff Magazine all gave the system full marks, while it also won a Red Dot Design Badge and What Hi-Fi Product of the Year. It’s fair to say we got through our fair share of awards night evening dresses and tuxedos.
