Naim Audio announces new network player
Naim Audio has launched the NDX: the first dedicated network player to bear the Naim Audio logo. Designed and engineered to integrate into the range at a similar quality level to the HDX hard disk player and CDX2 CD player, NDX is a performance-upgradeable network-connected audio player.
NDX will play a large array of standard and non-standard file formats including WAV and FLAC. AIFF is catered for and gapless playback is available on all lossless formats.
Listeners can enjoy music streamed from around the home via their network along with internet radio and local playback of MP3/iPod (digital) and USB memory-stick stored music. Three S/PDIF inputs add extra versatility and an optional FM/DAB module is available too. Control couldn’t be simpler either: choose from the front-panel interface, remote control handset or download Naim Audio’s n-Stream iPhone/iPod Touch app.
