ND5 XS 'Stars' in Hi-Fi News
The slimline ND5 XS network player has been given the coveted Editor’s Choice award from Hi-Fi News magazine after it scored 83% for sound quality in a resounding review which states it is "…one of the most convincing network streaming solutions yet."
The review was carried out using the SUPERNAIT integrated amplifier which demonstrated the ability of the ND5 XS to "…latch onto the rhythm and tempo of a recording and reproduce the force and intent of the piece with unerring accuracy." The addition of the XP5 XS power supply brings a further level of refinement, adding "…a depth and richness to proceedings that was less pronounced with the ND5 XS operating alone." The review concludes that the ND5 XS is "something of a star" offering a "…welcome blend of high resolution performance and excellent everyday functionality."
This is the latest in a line of fantastic reviews and awards for the ND5 XS network player which include the "Best Streamer" award from Hi-Fi Choice, a 5 star review from What Hi-Fi? Sound & Vision and an "Outstanding" result in a test by German hi-fi magazine Stereoplay.
