Apple Announces New Functionality - AirPlay 2

We are delighted to announce Apple's launch of a brand new functionality within AirPlay - AirPlay 2.

With AirPlay 2, Apple is integrating multiroom audio into the new iOS 11 update so you can easily control our new range of Uniti all-in-one players from your iPhone or iPad using Control Center, the Home app, or even Siri. 

AirPlay 2 works across iOS, macOS and tvOS and is also tightly integrated with Apple Music offering multiple systems control and shared Up Next. We will be integrating AirPlay 2 support to our new Uniti range of all-in-one players (Uniti Atom, Uniti Star and Uniti Nova) in parallel with Apple’s launch timings, to be confirmed.

This new functionality will add fantastic musical value for anyone who often uses the Apple eco-system of functionality within Naim's streaming systems.  With the advent of AirPlay 2, multiroom takes on a new level of integration for customers to connect to and enjoy their music.
