Naim Audio Ovator launched in Munich

The High End Show in Munich recently witnessed the launch of what is potentially the most exciting high-end speaker ever released, the Naim Audio Ovator S-600. Ovator S-600 launches at Munich High End Show. The High End Show 2009 saw the ground-breaking Ovator S-600 loudspeaker launched to the press and public and the design created a justified air of excitement. The new speaker combines all that Naim Audio has learned about building loudspeakers over the past 30 years, and incorporates technologies that have never before been seen in a high-end design. The Ovator, for example, employs a Balanced Mode Radiator driver to handle all the frequencies from 380Hz to beyond audibility. Another 'first' is that this design is intended not to be placed against a wall but used in free space, which enables it to deliver astonishing imagery alongside the traditional, musically engaging, Naim Audio performance.
