The Naim Audio Lola Perrin Piano Competition

Naim Audio have announced the opening of “The Naim Audio Lola Perrin Piano Competition” in collaboration with independent composer and pianist, Lola Perrin.

The competition is aimed at pianists of all ages who are at colleges and universities both in the UK and throughout the world. Institutions are eligible to apply to participate in the competition now by emailing [email protected]. Places for the competition, which will start in September 2011 and continue throughout the 2011/12 academic year, will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis with the first college to enter receiving a free set of Lola Perrin piano books.

Participants will be asked to perform one piece from Lola Perrin’s catalogue (of over 60 compositions) and a piece from another composer chosen by the college. Cash prizes of £150 will be awarded to the winners at each college along with £100 to the runners up.
